This Ingles Buchan Men’s Scarf is a classic piece made in Scotland from 100% lightweight wool in a firm weave (it’s not one of those soft and fuzzy lambswool scarves). The tartan is a scaled-down version of that worn by the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Pipe Band. See last two photos for comparison purposes. Checks on the scarf, a small item, look like they are downsized from the larger checks that would be found on, say, a kilt.
