The white pockets hand down, for details the hem is a fuzzy hem and distressing is seen on the front and back as well as the pockets they were made this way to have a lived in look. The front hem is rolled up a little bit as seen in photos from being washed. You could use a iron to iron them down (I don’t have a iron or I would do it) I took pictures with and without the flash on so you can see the tan, beige, “khaki” coloring of the shorts, if you have any questions let me know.
