We excited to announce our next shirt in the “Places-out-of-business” collection – the Boblo Island (Michigan) t-shirt. This is printed on a super premium, soft t-shirt. These are excellent shirts that side-seamed meaning that they are cut from a pattern and not a typical inexpensive “tubular tee.” These are also “Ringer” T-shirts meaning that the collar and sleeve are a different color than the body of the shirt. Get it here in our eBay store (buy-it-now, no bidding) in sizes Small thru 3X-Large. Screen Printed by hand!Screen printing, a time-tested process, is still considered the premium way to print a shirt. There are a lot of other technologies now – heat press transfers, dye-sublimation, print-on-demand and so on, but screen printing still produces the best quality and longest lasting image. We also use an environmentally and phthalate-free water based ink. This ink is superior for softness on the shirt and a long-lasting image. After the first wash, you will barely be able to feel the Boblo Island image on the shirt, yet it will last a very long time and not crack and flake like other types of screen printing. Please Select size using the drop-down menu near the top of the listing. If you are not familiar or just barely remember this place, it was an awesome amusement park on an island in the Detroit River which you had to take a ferry to from either Michigan or Canada. It was a perennial summer activity to go with family or friends and created millions of fond memories for people of all ages in the area. If wearing this shirt in the general vecinity of Michigan, you are sure to get compliments or start conversations.
