Made of a sturdy vulcanized rubber it is tough and presents a neat finished appearance to your sword with a single piece stout injection molded construction. Add or remove foam to dial in the tips firmness.Affix the tip onto the rattan with one layer of glass filament tape running parallel to the length of the rattan. Note: There are lines on the outside of the tip. Tape to the Fourth line for our recommended construction. Be sure that the tape passes the edge of the tip and down the rattan several inches.Apply a second,layer of glass filament tape in a spiral over the first layer.Cover the filament tape with your choice of duct tape.Over time, the foam may deteriorate and need to be replaced.
